28 Tips to a Stress Free Christmas 2014 - Tip #12

 Tip #12

Time to plan out the Christmas menu.

If you are like me you already have it planned and half bought.
In tip #4 i advised you to go shopping. No worries if you didn't.

This is another thing that usually makes it to the last minute list.

So if you are anything like me you want perfection.
As though it would not be the best meal unless every tradition

was followed. Even if you cannot find the things you want,

you can always make do. Promise it still will be amazing !!

Make the things you know your family will enjoy.

You do not have to have a turkey.

A holiday meal can be anything you want it to be.

This year we will have a turkey but only because i

was able to get one for low cost back in the beginning of October.

The rest of my menu will be family favorites. ( it doesn't change often)

My Menu:

Pineapple glazed Turkey

Twice baked Mac n Cheese

Mashed Potatoes with Homemade Gravy

Corn on the Cob

Homemade Biscuits

Tossed Salad

Baked goods:

Homemade Apple Pie with Ice Cream

Bonus Tip

If you are on a very tight budget

shop for your holiday meal with what's on sale.

Because stores know everyone is buying

turkeys, hams and things like that

most other meats go on sale.
