28 Tips to a Stress Free Christmas 2014 - Tip #10

Tip #10

It seems like it never stops.

Do not feel like your home has to be perfect for your guest.

Everyone who would be invited to your home,

including your MIL, know how well you keep you home and just how
truly busy you are. Going over the top making sure everything is

in the right place, that all the closet aren't stuffed with

clutter, and every decoration is perfect just isn't needed.

Your home is decorated, there maybe dirty dishes

even dirty clothes . Take a few minutes each day to just straighten up.

Your regular way of cleaning will do just fine.

After that throw off the cleaning garb and relax.

Enjoy the holidays as much as you can.

That is what the holidays are made for.

Bonus Tip

Do not change your day to day

because the holidays are here.

You will most likely accomplish

more if you stick to what you know best.
Adding in a new routine during an already stressful time
is not something you want to add to you already stuffed plate.
What I have been doing
This is my cleaning routine. Those who have been using flylady will understand
my outlook on cleaning. Those who don't know what flylady is, go to Flylady
and see her baby steps and join in. You will thank me later.

      • I clean a section a day, in 15 min increments
      • I allow myself to enjoy my holiday even if my home is a little messy
      • I clean as I decorate or during free time
      • I make a list of things I would like to clean that day
In my home know that I have a saying:
"My home is clean enough to be healthy but dirty enough to be happy"!

And I stick to it.
