Greet one another with a kiss of love.—1 Peter 5:14
Think of a specific way you’d like to greet your spouse today. Do it with a smile and with enthusiasm. Then determine to change your greeting to reflect your love for them.
Reflections: Having the ability to wake up next to my husband this morning is not something I get to do everyday. This weekend was a hard one for me because not only did I have task of personal things and girl scouts. I did not go to bed thinking of how I wanted to greet my husband, nor did I think of how I would greet him throughout the day because I knew we wouldn't spend anytime apart.
I am usually grumpy Saturday mornings and the fact that my hubby still waited for my smile before pushing me out of bed is heart warming. I think if I had this dare to do all over I would appreciate the time in bed to cuddle and reconnect with him and maybe ask him to stay in bed while I cook for him. There was not a moment that we are really going to be apart this weekend but more thought could have go into it. Maybe I will not be so grumpy like this morning.
